XAT Registration Procedure - 2012

XAT 2012 is generally taken by those candidates who want to take admission in XLRI institute and other management institutes. A candidate has to first register for XAT 2012 at www.xlri.edu/ and then only he/she can obtain XAT Bulletin from select branches of Axis Bank. This year the registration process will commence from 20th September, 2011. This year the institute will conduct Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) on 8th January, 2012.

XAT Registration: If a candidate wants to register online, the candidate has to visit the website www.xlri.edu/ and click XAT Registration 2012. The XAT Registration page opens up wherein he/she has to fill-in the online XAT form. The information to be provided includes the nearest Axis Bank branch name from where he/she intends to buy the XAT Bulletin 2012, personal details, educational details, work experience etc.
Select XAT Associate Institute: The candidate should select the names of XAT Associate Institutes.
XAT ID and Password: Once the candidate will successfully submit the XAT from, the candidate will immediately get his/her XAT ID and passport (which is automatically generated by the system). The candidates should retain the XAT ID and passport with them as it will be required for future correspondence with XAT office, downloading Admit card and other transitions at www.xlri.edu/ website.
Download XAT Pay-in-slip: The next step, candidates has to download the XAT Pay-in-slip. The pay-in-slip will have the date of registration, names of the Axis Bank branch, XAT Pay-in-slip No, XAT ID, name of the candidate, address and phone number printed on it. The printed pay-in slip is divided into three parts. Candidates must take all the three parts of the pay-in-slip to the Axis Bank branch.
Go to Axis Bank Branch: The candidates to take this downloaded XAT Pay-in-slip to the Axis bank branch to buy the XAT Bulletin. On submitting the XAT pay-in-slip and Bulletin form fees the bank will issue the XAT 2012 Bulletin number, date of purchase and Bank Tran ID and put a bank seal on each part of the pay-in-slip. The bank will retain their copy and return the rest of the pay-in-slip to the candidate.
Fill the Detachable Form: Before filling the XAT registration form candidates must read the XAT Bulletin thoroughly. After reading the whole Bulletin candidate should fill the detachable form with same information as filled in the online form. Candidate has to paste his/her passport size colour photograph and put his/her signature in the space provided.
Attach Pay-in-slip: The candidate has to then attach the XLRI's copy of the pay-in-slip in the space provided on the form. The candidate's copy of the pay-in-slip is to be carefully retained by the candidate for future reference, if any.
Send to XAT Office: The candidate has to then carefully detach the form from the XAT Bulletin and send it to XAT Office, Jamshedpur through registered post/courier/speed post in the special envelope given inside the XAT Bulletin. This form along with the pay-in-slip should reach the XAT Office, XLRI, and Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur-831001 within seven days from the date of purchase of XAT XLRI Bulletin.
Download Admit Card: For XAT Admit Card, the candidate has to visit our website www.xlri.edu/

I have done my registration for both XAT as well as for XLRI and have sent the conformation page to the respective address.But i forgot to mention its complete address.I have sent the conformation page to the following address: XLRI circuit house area(east),jamshedpur-831001. Both the forms are been sent to same address. I have made the payment through Demand Draft mode.Its been almost a week sending the conformation page with required documents through speed post. Kindly guide me through this as i am worried that my form will be rejected or may not reach .
